InOrigins, you can be maxed at level 55, as are the enemies. The quests are still at their original levels, so a level 12 quest in the first run is still level 12 in NG+. Makes for a pretty easy time when your Bayek is level 55.
Generallyit's a good idea to have two very different ones equipped in the two slots, so that you can switch quickly as needed, i. e. some daggers for brawling and maybe a spear for when you're fighting mounted. Clothing has no stats in Origins so you can choose any outfit you like. Shields have resistance perks.
